Description
During the Qin and Han Dynasties more than two thousand years ago, cherry blossoms were cultivated in Chinese palaces. Cherry blossoms were common in private homes in the Tang Dynasty. At that time, when the world came to Korea, Japanese pilgrims brought cherry blossoms back to Dongying, which had a history of more than 1,000 years in Japan. Cherry blossoms symbolize warmth, purity and nobility. There is no statutory national flower in Japan. Usually, chrysanthemums and cherry blossoms are regarded as the national flowers of Japan.
